House of Time plays Viennese Masters: Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven

Join us in the Guggenheim atrium for a special appearance by acclaimed ensemble House of Time.

From Mozart's mercurial grace, and the endless wit of Haydn, to the explosive, revolutionary strains of Beethoven, this concert brings together the three giants of late eighteenth century Vienna. The arrangement of Haydn's Opus 50, No.5 quartet by Mozart's oboist Joseph Fiala serves as the model for Gonzalo X. Ruiz's new arrangement of Beethoven's String Quartet Opus 18, No. 1. The program is rounded out with Mozart's Adagio and Fugue in D minor and Flute Quartet K. 285 arranged for oboe in C major.

Special Event: Vivaldi Bonanza at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

We are pleased to bring the Mount Sinai Concerts orchestra on the "road" for a special appearance at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Due to the special nature of this concert inside a closed cancer care ward, we are not able to open our invitation up to the general public. We will repeat this concert at another time for our fans and wider audience at Mount Sinai! In the meantime, know that we are doing our best to uplift and inspire the patients who need it the most.
